Dr. Sharat Babu was the first doctor to introduce Phacoemulsification cataract surgery in Telangana in 1995. This advanced, small-incision technique enabled faster recovery and better visual outcomes.
Rotary Service
Dr. Sharat Babu served as District Governor of Rotary District 3150 during 2008–2009. He was honored as the second-best Rotary Governor worldwide for impactful service initiatives.
